Here at Shelby County Conservation District, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in conserving the land and water.  We offer twelve local cost share programs: Backyard Conservation, Lime, Pasture and Hay Seed, Livestock Water, Heavy Use Area, Hoop Barn, Sinkhole Repair, Pasture and Hay Management (Spray), Wildlife Pollinator Habitat, High/Low Tunnel, Exclusion Fence, and Cover Crop.  We also work with the Natural Resource Conservation Service and have state and federal programs offered to landowners.​
